In recent years, we have attended a lot of worldwide exhibitions in Russia, Germany, and our hometown, China. These few exhibitions gave us such unforgettable experiences and a great opportunity to show our latest products in the most resonating way with our audience. From Moscow to Guangzhou, every single event helped us grow, learn, and get connected with industry leaders and customers alike.
Brilliant start at Moscow Exhibition 2023 in Russia
In 2023, this landmark in Moscow exhibition, from UPLUS Lighting, left an 18-square-meter booth at the exhibition to excite and innovate the Russian lighting market. Although the space was not too grand, we did not temper our ambition because of that. We curated products that were both novel and had real market potential for careful showcasing in the booth.
Among the brightest moments of this exhibition, of course, was the great interest from Russian customers and industry peers alike. Our booth has turned into an epicenter, attracting the attention of every part of the event. The products we showcased were tailored in order to meet a specific demand of the Russian market, and the positive feedback received simply confirmed that we were targeting the right mark.
However, the connections created with both existing and potential clients added an extra special feeling. Exhibitions are more about relationships rather than just products. This means that the possibility of face-to-face meetings with customers gave a deeper understanding of what they needed and what kind of problems they had, and we took that response and continued to make our offerings better.
What’s Next After Moscow?
Success in Moscow was more than just about the sales or a bunch of compliments; it was about the inspiration we had taken from those interactions: how to take what we had learned in Russia and apply that to other markets, what kind of innovations we could show next. Little did we know, the answer would come soon after at our next big event in Germany.
Frankfurt Exhibition: Innovation in every inch
The next step in bringing our latest innovations to the global stage was our journey to Frankfurt. This time, UPLUS Lighting took a 12-square-meter booth to display our unique series of waterproof wall washers along with several other new w aterproof products . Though our booth was certainly not very big compared with some larger brands at the event, we tried to make every inch count.
This show was highlighted by the energy surrounding our waterproof series luminaires. Constructed to endure extreme conditions, these luminaires supplied ideal outdoor, architectural, and other demanding applications. It was impressive to see just how sought-after they were. Demand from European customers was overwhelming, even considering the size of the booth.
Perhaps what distinguished our presence in Frankfurt was the ability to merge leading-edge technology with practical solutions that businesses in Europe were looking for. First of all, waterproof wall washers stood out with their unrivaled durability and increased quality of light ; no wonder they immediately gained favor.
What Lessons Did We Learn in Frankfurt?
What Frankfurt left us with is one important message: it is not about new products; it is about being able to listen to the market and understand what clients need. The feedback we got from our European customers has helped us hone our product range and inspired us to think about new ways of meeting those needs.
We were already thinking about China while packing up in Germany, where we were to showcase the largest booth to date at the Guangzhou exhibition. Having done two exhibitions, we were confident and ready for the next big challenge.
Guangzhou Exhibition: A Leap in Scale and Innovation
If the exhibitions in Moscow and Frankfurt were about showcasing specific products in small spaces, then the Guangzhou exhibition was about taking everything we had learned and scaling it up. Our booth here was not only of massive size at 117 m2 but more than ten times larger compared to Frankfurt and represented a leap in size and ambition.
Guangzhou is one of China’s most important exhibitions about lighting, and with UPLUS Lighting, this was our chance to make one of the biggest statements. A full advantage was taken of the bigger booth with our star product, the waterproof wall washer series. The prime location of the booth, combined with creative attention to displays, reeled in customers from around the world, from local Chinese clients to international buyers.
One of the unforgettable moments of this exhibition was the unprecedented interest in our products. The pure color and beautiful lighting effect of wall washers appealed to both domestic and foreign visitors. We also had a chance to communicate with lots of potential business partners, further extending our horizon beyond China.
How did Guangzhou push us forward?
The success of the Guangzhou exhibition wasn’t just about how big our booth was or the amount of products we showcased, but how we could really showcase the growth of UPLUS Lighting. It showed us how our commitment to quality and innovation eventually paid off, and it called for even further motivation to push the boundaries of what’s possible in the stage lighting industry.
Each of these three exhibitions has looked back and played a key role in shaping us into what we are today as a company. But we’re not done yet. As a matter of fact, we’re just getting started.
Moscow Exhibition 2024: Bigger, Better, Brighter
The road again takes us back to Moscow for the exhibition in 2024, where further innovation and growth are on the cards. This time, we are going with not just a different spirit but also one much larger: a booth of 36 square meters, which is two times as big as our first booth in 2023. This is not only the largest booth that China has obtained at the Russian exhibition but it’s one hell of a statement toward our confidence and determination for further changes in lighting.
Our new product and updated versions of the waterproof series will be presented in our booth at the Moscow Lighting Exhibition 2024. We listened carefully to the comments after several exhibitions, carefully refined our products, and met the dynamic demands of the market. This larger booth space enables the exposure of more of our innovations and interaction with clients in a more lively and immersive manner.
What promises to be most exciting about the forthcoming exhibition, however, is to be able to meet our customers from Russia once again. We look forward to seeing some old acquaintances and making a few new ones in the process; we are confident this event will prove to be another milestone in our journey.
